Look to the right and solve another elevator puzzle. Lift up the bottom of the tapestry straight ahead, then go through to find another elevator. Just write down the pictograph you can see on the pot (pick it up and look at it to see this clearly) or a description of the lid, then put it back so you can get it later if you manage to find a matching pot and lid combination, they will automatically combine when you pick them up. Now turn the key, and an Ixupi Pot/Lid will be revealed in the cupboard below. Open the drawers highlighted in green on the layout below: Go to the small set of 12 drawers on the far left. Go over towards the fireplace, then head through the door on the right into a workshop. Look up at the top of the desk and read the scrapbook, then play the tape to listen to a recorded message. Close this drawer, then open the drawer below it and take the Ash Ixupi Lid. Open the top right drawer and read the note inside. Also read the newspaper clipping pinned to the map. Look at the map on the wall near the desk, and note the coordinates that are circled: 75W, 20N. Read the newspaper in the coat hanging on the coat stand. Walk straight out of the elevator into Professor Windlenot's office. Open the elevator doors and get inside, then press the button to go up. You do this by sliding the pieces with the arrows. As indicated by the design on the elevator doors, you need to get the lion heads to line up from top right to bottom left. Open the box to the right and solve the first elevator puzzle. Follow the long blue corridor behind the pot and you will eventually reach an elevator with a security camera. Turn the crank once more to reach the opposite shore.īreak open the pot on the ground to see Windlenot's ghost - you cannot pick up or use this pot. Now turn the crank here 3 times - an Ixupi will jump up and attack you (this is unavoidable). Turn around and look down, then push the ankh lever here away from you. Board the nearby boat and look down to the left. Read through the book "Egyptian Hieroglyphics Explained" - after you are done, you can access it in the future using the Flashback feature from the game's main menu. Turn left and go forward, then examine the body of Professor Windlenot. To get through the maze, head forward twice, left, forward 3 times, right, forward twice, right, forward 3 times, left, forward 5 times, left, forward twice, right, forward twice, right, forward twice, left and forward. Turn back to the right to see a dimly lit corridor. Turn left and press the small red button, then pull down the lever to turn on the lights. Go down the blue stairs that are revealed. You now need to match the colors with the symbols you have seen on your way here: Look down at the large multi-colored device on the ground. Once you reach the stone monoliths, look through one of the arches to see a bronze cross and circle design carved into the rock beyond. Turn away from the gazebo and follow the path to the right, then over some stepping stones in the water. To solve the puzzle you must swap the positions of the black and white gears within 7 moves. You are now shown a set of black and white gears that currently occupy 6 out of 8 possible locations, as below: Set the dials to show the number 029 (from the mailbox), then press the red button to open the device. Turn back again and follow the path into a gazebo. Turn back along the path and you will then find a white double-spiral design. Continue along the path and examine the bench to see a brown circle design. Look on the ground behind it to see a green sun design. Go all the way back down the stairs, then follow the other path to reach a stone monument. Press the doorbell to hear a recorded message about the museum not being open. Continue climbing the stairs to reach the door and note the grey semicircle design here. On the way you will come across a large pot - look behind it to see an orange vase design. Turn around and follow the right path, heading up the stairs towards the museum. After the letter falls, note the number 29 inside the mailbox. Look to the left to see a strange mailbox, then pull the chain to open it and read the letter inside.
